We had a lovely time staying at the spa! Vickie was super-helpful throughout; I mean she really went above-and-beyond when it came to ensuring we had a lovely time. We've been staying at AirB&Bs for many years in many countries, but no one was as kind and helpful as Vickie. We had a marvelous time and are very grateful for the experience.

Vickie’s house is INCREDIBLE! It’s somehow even more beautiful than what you see in the pictures. We loved our quiet mornings drinking coffee and seeing the local fauna walk around the property (like agoutis!). The whole property is so serene; from the private cenote to the koi pond, there’s so many options for tranquility. It’s right off the main highway which is super convenient, but far enough back that you never even hear it. Checking in and out was super easy; Vickie was really awesome about making sure we got in ok even after our travels were delayed. She had really great recommendations for sights and things to do and even let us know which ones were total tourist traps. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back! Even after renting a car it’s still exponentially cheaper than the resorts and honestly just a much better way to experience the Yucatán. 10/10

Our stay was fabulous in this lovely home. It is spacious (bigger than it appeared in the photos), modern, and comfortable. The location is ideal for a mountain of activities up and down the coast - we were near so many fun things to do. What is not to like about it? We used the projector for watching movies, all the rooms are large, richly appointed, and have air conditioning and en suite baths. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use for family meals. Laundry was a breeze and the WiFi was convenient. The convertible game table entertained our kids for hours. The location is private, secure, and quiet for relaxing after long days exploring the area. Finally, you have your own cenote pool! This is what the region is all about and you have it yourself. Our kids had a blast jumping into the pool and exploring it.5 minutes to the beach in the description is not an exaggeration and with access to Puerto Adventuras, you can make it to the beach and coral reef easily and without crowds or expensive tours. The town has great dining, shopping, and is fun for kids or adults. If available, book this amazing house! We are already figuring out how to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Vickie’s beautiful and peaceful home! Our group was two couples in our 40s, and the space was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home is private, quiet, and even more lovely than the photos—truly a hidden gem. Vickie was extremely friendly and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. Myself and a couple of friends stayed for 10 days and it was amazing. Vickie's house is beautiful, lots of space and the highlight is definitely the back yard with the cenote. We spent a lot of time hanging out and doing trips in the area. Definitely recommend visiting with a car so it's easy to get around and do everything that's available!

We had a lovely stay at Toh Ha Spa. Vickie, her amazing home, and 2 dogs were a highlight of our 2 weeks in Mexico. The house is larger than we needed but so nice after being in hotel rooms. The Cenote and grounds are pure magic, and the location is a perfect landing pad coming into or flying out of Cancun. One hour from the airport, across the street from Xpu-Ha, between Xcaret and Xel-Ha parks, 15 mins to Akumal and 30 to Tulum. Its location makes it possible for many different adventures or just relaxing at the home.

Great spot in the jungle, but close to everything by car — groceries, restaurants and beach. Vickie gave great recommendations and was very friendly. The private cenote was fun to hang out in. The projector and screen were nice to have at night. Place was clean, surroundings were tranquil.

Fabulous stay! My daughter, son-in-law and 4 grands - ages 9, 12,13, 13 - enjoyed a most wonderful week here. Host Vickie is excellent, full stop. She is quickly responsive and very helpful from any questions we had regarding the home to restaurant suggestions to various experiences we booked through her. Every person Vickie connected us with was lovely. The cenote in the backyard was such a treat and the kids loved it! The home is well equipped and very comfortable. Being in the jungle was truly different and relaxing - the birds were amazing. The location is so nice because the spot is minutes off the main highway and close to everything we wanted to do. I would gladly return!!

What a wonderful place Vickie has created. The house is beautiful, but where it really shines is outside. Lounging in the cenote, watching the birds and lizards, giving the resident dogs some scritches - so relaxing.

The main purpose of our trip was to dive cenotes, you couldn't have a better location. A couple days our dives were just minutes away.

Vickie was wonderful, so kind and friendly. She was always super responsive when we had questions and gave us great tips on the local area.

10/10 will absolutely stay here again next we are in the area.

You can feel the love, devotion and care that Vickie has poured into this home, right down to the smallest details. Be sure to read through the description of the home, as it was just as described. Our family of six had a fantastic time spending a week at this beautiful jungle home. The house is spacious and comfortable and set in a peaceful, natural environment. The perimeter fence and the gated driveway made the property feel safe so that we could allow our kids to roam. Our four kids loved swimming and jumping from the cliff into the cenote, watching the fish in the koi pond, traversing the nature trail around the property, playing pool, foosball and air hockey in the game area and enjoying popcorn for movie night on the big screen. The adults enjoyed making drinks in the blender and relaxing or reading on the beautiful patio overlooking the cenote or on the upper patio in the hammock. The beds are comfortable and there were extra blankets if needed. The blackout curtains and air.

Vickie's Toh Ha 3 bedroom home was an oasis. The common areas were perfect for our big family holiday. Vickie was on site in her own apartment and was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. The property was private, beautiful, and tranquil, and Vickie's 3 dogs were so friendly and never made any noise. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were spacious & and the upstairs bedroom with the balcony/hammock/mini kitchen was stunning. The patio area looking out to the cenote was my favorite spot, even though we didn't use it, it was beautiful to gaze at. The washer/dryer was super helpful. Vickie even helped us by arranging a drive to our next destination. Overall, I highly recommend Vickie's house especially if you want to visit cenotes, Playa Akumel, or simply have an amazing house to stay in. Vickie was an amazing communicator and always responsive

In all my years of travel, this is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review. Let me just say, I hope you too are lucky enough to stay at Vickie's. The property is absolutely lovely, and so is Vickie. The photos do NOT do it justice. From the private cenote to the tastefully appointed furniture. You have everything you need to feel at home in the kitchen, with everything pristine and new. The tranquility and peace of the Buddah statues, especially magical at night. I loved how I felt there and the overall vibe. I miss it already. : )

Vickie's place was great and we wish we had a few more days to spend hanging out and swimming in the cenote. The cenote wasn't clear when we were there due to a recent hurricane, but that wasn't a problem and it was still so much fun for everyone to swim around in, a wonderful, unique experience for our family. The house was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and AC worked great in all the bedrooms making for a nice rest. There is no AC in the main part of the house and it can get a bit warm there after a hot day of activities outside, but that isn't a problem if you just go to the cool bedrooms instead or cool off in the cenote. Vickie is on site and was always super responsive to any questions. She gave a bunch of great tips about the local area. Overall the house and cenote were truly wonderful, and if we return to the area we'll definitely be staying here again.

Vickie helped arrange a vehicle for our stay and a chef to cook our meals in the evenings. She also helped us with things to do locally. The place was absolutely pristine. We enjoyed our stay and Vickie arranged for her sweet friend to let us in and show us around. 4 rather adorable dogs of varying shapes and sizes gave a joyful and enthusiastic greeting each day which I loved. It’s relatively quiet but you will hear some traffic. The house is built in a beautiful jungle area and although there’s a mention of bugs we actually found it ok. The mosquito door protectors worked a treat. We really enjoyed xpu ha beach. Parking at Bonanaza worked well for us and we enjoyed that end of the beach. Have cash ready to pay for parking and beach chairs are separate. Bring tea/coffee/milk etc and perhaps some beers so you can settle into the studio without needing to drive to get things. Vickie was super responsive, helpful, generous with her time and we would have really liked to meet her.

If I'm ever back in this area, I'd be more than happy to stay here again. You won't find another place that's this affordable and within walking distance of a bunch of really awesome cenotes. There's also a great supermarket that's only a 20 peso connectivo ride away, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Vickie's property is gorgeous, and wonderful to come home to after a day at the cenotes. The beds were nice, the AC worked great, honestly this was the nicest place I stayed during our entire trip.

Just wrapped up a trip through Yucatan with a couple of days at this place, and it was great! Easily the nicest airbnb we've stayed in at this price range, and Vickie was super helpful with everything. The cenotes by this place are also incredible and within walking distance, and it was really nice to come home to a super clean space with a well equipped kitchen for a change. 5 stars from me!

Vickie was very responsive and always quick to help with anything we needed from suggestions of places to visit to other activities to do. Her place is very quiet with a beautiful surroundings. The rooms had ac which really cooled down the doors and made it really comfortable to sleep at night. The living room/kitchen does get hot especially since its July so just be prepared. Overall a beautiful & huge home!

This place is unique! It has a garden, koi pond, and it's own cenote for swimming. The house was comfortable and the location is great! We liked visiting Puerto Aventuras with its great restaurants and shopping. Our favorite activity was the cenote cave snorkeling near Chemuyil. We highly recommend all of the tours offered by Bejil-Ha! Also Vickie was the perfect host. She was proactive in contacting us on arrival, flexible when our drive took longer than expected, and answered our requests immediately but also gave us privacy.

Vicky's place is a home away from home. It is very cosy, clean, comfortable, and overall a beautiful place to stay. We would highly recommend it to book it. We loved Toh Ha Spa Airbnb! Our family of six hadn't previously been to Mexico. We discovered Vicki's home on Airbnb and liked the photos and the price. It was a beautiful, spacious, and peaceful location. Vicki was proactive with communication and offered several recommendations of activities and restaurants. We took a paddle board lesson from her business and it was great! The kids swam in her cenote and enjoyed walking around and seeing the koi pond. There was plenty of sleeping space for the six of us. She offered filtered water for drinking, which was so helpful. We felt completely safe. Puerto Adventures is just a couple miles away and we spent nearly every day there, eating and shopping--there are lots of restaurant options as well as a beach club that offers a daily pass. Vicki was a warm and welcoming host and so easy and responsive when it came to communication. We'd definitely stay here again!

Vickie is a wonderful, attentive host and her place is fantastic! The rental is located on a large, safe property that is accessible only through her private gate. The studio had everything we needed and the large, private balcony/patio is perfect to laying in the hammock and watching billions of stars at night or catching some sun during the day. This place is made for people who really want to relax and enjoy a quiet place away from all the hustle and bustle of a city or town. That is very hard to find in the Riviera Maya. The location is good, very easy to find with the instructions from the host. The studio is extremely well equipped with everything that a guest could think of. A very nice european touch is a huge plus. For those who wish to cook in the kitchen there is nothing what we missed. And if somebody needs anything, Vickie is next door to bring it to you. She has 4 very nice, friendly dogs which are probably the most silent dogs of all we have come across in Mexico! Well behaving, well trained too. To enjoy this place fully we suggest to have a car. The bed is comfortable, pillows are good, the view from the terrace is amazing and the breeze is very comfortable so even in May we did not need A/C. There is a ceiling fan and another fan in case it gets a bit warmer. For people who fear jungle, there is nothing to worry about. The studio is upstairs and well protected. A few mosquitos did get in but not a big deal. On the property there is also a trail to walk around and see more of the nature surrounding this property. We would definitely come back without any hesitation.

It's hard to put into words how incredibly beautiful Vickie's Casa Motmot is. We had the honour to be the first guests in the newly renovated studio. It is a top modern studio in the jungle, not far from the main road between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. During our world trip we have been to many Airbnbs, but we have never had such a modern, well equipped and clean kitchen as in Casa Motmot. We also enjoyed the beautiful terrace and went for walks in the mornings and evenings on the trail that leads about 10-15 minutes across Vickies terrain. Oh yes, and the most important thing was almost forgotten: Vickie is an incredibly kind and dedicated host. She has done everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. And she definitely succeeded. If you are also wondering if you need a car for a stay at Casa Motmot. We can recommend it, as a car is a good way to explore the beaches and cenotes around Casa Motmot, but it's perfectly possible without one. Colectivos and buses stop on the main road, from where it is only a 4-5 minute walk to Casa Motmot.

I spent a couple of months searching for the perfect place to stay. After looking at over a hundred listings, I chose Vickie's place, and I'm really glad I did. It was exactly what I was looking for! The home is nestled in the beautiful, serene greenery of the jungle- a peaceful, nourishing sanctuary that Vickie has created. If you want to be away from the chaos, noise, and tourists and enjoy nature- this is the place for you! The studio, like the photos, is modern, clean, beautiful, full of natural light, and the most pleasant cross breeze. The kitchen is well stocked. Vicki is an amazing host, you couldn't hope for a better host. She is highly attentive, took care of anything in need of attention immediately, and did whatever she could to make my stay more comfortable. I stayed at Casa Motmot for a month and was happy to extend for another week. I did not have a car or a bike and got around walking and with the collectivos. The main road is a few minutes walk to pick up the collectivo, and there are about 5 cenotes that are within a fifteen-twenty min. walk. Playa del Carmen is half an hour away by car, Tulum maybe 45 minutes. I can only recommend Vickie's apartment with glowing reviews, I was very happy staying there and very grateful to Vickie for her hospitality!!

Vickie was a great host! Very friendly and accommodating. Here place is great for those who wants to visit the areas offerings and a great price. It was more than enough space for the 4 of us (2 kids under 10) and had everything we needed. Some great local eats not too far and a large supermarket (Walmart like). Highly recommend.

This is one incredible place! On the door step of lovely cenotes, and stepped back from the main highway where you can catch a local bus every few minutes. The apartment is gorgeous, a huge comfy bed that helped us with our jet lag. A very well equipped kitchen and a shower where you can look around at the jungle. Vickie is an amazing host, and really helped us out with tips for our travels. She is just an incredible lady and put us straight at ease. If you want luxury in the jungle away from the hustle and bustle of the main towns this is the place!

A beautiful, super clean and super equipped loft in the jungle. What a wonderful feeling to come back to this dreamy place after a day on the road and visits in touristy spots. Tienes que vivirlo. Si no sabes Yoga no es problema lo puedes hacer, si ya sabes Yoga llevarás tus posturas a otro nivel al estar balanceando sobre el agua. Siempre siempre me sentí a salvo. Very nice bedroom in a large, newer house within easy walking distance to the main Cancun to Tulum highway. Vickie's home is also located very near to local cenotes and a nearby town. Vickie is a gracious host and has a great kitchen facility available to guests as well as a nice patio and spacious living room. My wife, two adult children and I were quite comfortable and would stay here again.

Vickie is the best host I have ever had. She takes care of every single detail. She makes sure you feel good in her home. Her place is great, very well located. Perfect if you don't want to spend so much to stay in Tulum but you can go there by car or to so many paradise beaches, cenotes around. The house and furnitures are very new, the bed is incredible, we loved the bed, the glass bathroom & the terrace! Even at the highest season, we didn't hear any noise. Only the water falling in the lagoon. If you want to relax and listen to nature, it´s the best spot. And Vickie as a person makes everything easier for you. I 100% recommend !

Vickie's home and hospitality were over the top incredible. She has a very special home in a very beautiful part of Mexico. My space was very private, unique, clean and affordable. Vickie is a fantastic hostess, very friendly and accommodating; she was always willing to offer me advice on what and how to do things in Riviera Maya, always willing to call a taxi for me and she even offered to drive me herself on one occasion. Vickie always had coffee and purified water available and access to utilize all the common areas in the house as well. I always felt very safe and comfortable in her home. I would recommend her home as a place to stay for anyone traveling in the Riviera Maya region. Thank you again Vickie for making my stay in Mexico all the more special!

We had a great morning with Vickie! It was our first SUP yoga, but it was very accessible for two people with just a little experience with SUP and yoga separately. The lake is such a peaceful, unique place to practice SUP yoga, even with a little rain shower it was enjoyable. Vickie also worked with us to schedule a time that would work before we had to leave town, which we really appreciated!

We had an awesome experience with Vickie & I’m so happy we got to learn how to paddle board with her!!! It was the first time for both my husband and and I & she was an excellent teacher!!! We both loved the whole experience. And it was the perfect way to spend a part of my 50th birthday! She also was so kind to pick us up & return us to our hotel! And she took beautiful photos of us! Vickie also made excellent recommendations for restaurants in Puerto Aventuras...Hippos was our favorite. I could go on & on ...I highly recommend Vickie’s paddle board adventure while in Puerto Aventuras!

My time in vickie’s home was one of the best experiences I have ever had on airbnb and I strongly recommend staying at her place! I had such a wonderful time staying with Vickie that I ended up extending several times. Her place was in the perfect location for me, next door to Divers Underground where I was completing a cave diving course.

The room was very spacious with comfortable bed. Although there is no air conditioning, there are two large windows which fill the room with cool, fresh air, along with a powerful fan that Vickie provided. Since I was visiting in December, I even needed an extra blanket some nights! Vickie also had an excellent maid that came to tidy the room several times during my stay which was greatly appreciated. Dog lovers will also be grateful for Vickie’s four incredibly large and friendly dogs, Kali, Gizmo, Kenya and Leo, who are always happy to receive all your treats and belly rubs!

Vickie is an incredibly gracious and friendly host. She went above and beyond to help me have a comfortable visit and make me feel at home. She was quick to respond to all of my messages and resolve any issue as soon as possible. Vickie is also a paddle board yoga instructor and I recommend booking one of her unique paddle board experiences on Airbnb during your stay.

Vickie has put a lot of care and attention into her home which includes many nice outdoor spaces including a koi pond which is perfect for yoga and meditation, along with outdoor hammocks and reading nooks. Vickie also has a detached apartment located above her home which is also available for rent on Airbnb — that listing is definitely worth the extra cost and also boasts a small balcony overlooking vickie’s pond and cenote, along with a stunning glass-ceiling bathroom. I stayed there during my second trip, and loved it too! Thank you for everything Vickie!

Vickie's place is a cozy spot nestled in the Riviera Maya. It turned out to be a perfect quiet spot accessible to various cenotes and awesome beaches. The apartment was super clean and inviting. My favorite feature was the the bathroom with tons of windows. It was absolutely breathtaking to have a shower and see the jungle flora and fauna surrounding! Vickie was more than helpful with tips on transportation and local sights. She even gave us a ride our first night into town for our dinner. We were very pleased and if we return , we will most definitely stay at her place again!

We had a great time at Vicky's. The house is located in the middle of the jungle and is far away from any hustle and bustle. You should have a rental car, because many sights can be reached quickly from here. Vicky is just great! She helps with everything, gives great insider tips and enchanted by her warm-hearted manner. She has a big heart for dogs who greet you very friendly and like to be petted. There is even a cenote in the garden. Once the house is finished, it will be a little paradise.

Vickie was awesome!!! The place is great!!! Vickie was very accommodating and helpful to my buddy and I, making our stay easy and relaxing. The place itself was very clean and well taken care of. It was secluded yet close enough to walk to places which was great for us. The houses was surrounded by forest and had its on cenote on premises which is still a work in progress but still very cool. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere all around. I will definitely be staying there next time I'm down that way if the place is available. Thank you Vickie for everything, you're awesome!

We (couple, 25 and 28) stayed for 4 nights at Vickies beautiful and modern room. She just finished building it in january and its perfect into every detail. the kitchen has all you need for a short stay, the room is well ventilated, there are moscitonets in front of the windows and eventhough vickie and her family lives next door you totally have your privacy.

the whole appartment is filled with lovely details...pillows...candles...a speaker in the shower. It all makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. the glass-bathroom gives you the junglefeeling... specially around noon, when the sun shines on your head while showering.

Vickie was very friendly and it was super easy to communicate with her. She always answered very fast and helped us with all our needs. they even took us on one of they're stand up paddle tours they offer for a good price. it was great!

Vickies house is a huge project and she's always working on new stuff and improving everything. At the moment the internet is not great in the room. If you take a step outside the door it will work just fine;-) the water you use is pumped up from her own cenote. it will have a salty taste and with the heat it might have a bit of a smell when it runs down the sink. if we come back (and I hope we will!), we would definitly rent a car. that way its much easier to move around in that area.

We had a great stay and we recommend the room for couples as well as families up to 4 people.

My husband and I came for both business and vacation. It was evident that Vicki would become more than just your typical property owner. She was very hospitable even before our arrival, checking in to make sure she would be able to greet us upon our arrival. The property is off the beaten path which you would never know existed if you weren't looking for it. We got in very late, but Vicki was there to greet us. She even drew us a handwritten map of areas we should go and see. My husband and I really enjoyed our trip!

The residence is exactly as described in the listing so I have to say that there were no surprises. Vickie's hospitality was remarkable as was the confidentiality and independence left to guests despite the fact that the room is inside the house she lives in. The house (beautiful and spacious) is about 300 meters from the Road (and therefore it is located near a road of great communication), but at the same time it is immersed in vegetation: the only noise you can hear at sunrise and sunset is that of birds and animals of the "jungle". The room reserved for guests is simple , but spacious and with attached amenities (to improve the plumbing in line with local standards). If you are looking for freedom, independence, nature and silence, this is the right accommodation. If you are looking for people, the noise of civilization, proximity to clubs, entertainment and services, you are better off looking elsewhere. For travel, you can use the collective taxis that pass nearby. Alternatively, it is advisable to have your own means of transport. Vickie is a great host.

We had a lovely stay at Vickie's house at the beginning of January. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed incl. an en suite bathroom. Vickie was a lovely host and it felt like we were staying at a friend's place, as opposed to somebody we had just met. We had great communication prior to our visit and Vickie was very helpful in answering all our questions prior to our arrival. The house is gorgeous and I would thoroughly recommend giving Vickie a shout if you're staying in the Riviera Maya. Thank you Vickie for a lovely stay and for making us feel very welcome. Vickie was a marvelous host. She did her utmost to help us find our way around Tulum, from picking us up at Playa del Carmen the first day, to helping us take the small buses that ran up and down the highway, to giving us tips on which cenotes to visit nearby. She also was gracious enough to take us to buy groceries at the nearby supermarket. And her house was absolutely lovely--literally in the jungle, yet with comforts such as WiFi; and very tastefully decorated.

If I was visiting Tulum again, I would definitely seek to stay with Vickie. It didn't matter that we were outside the city itself--we were only about 20 minutes away, with very easy access by bus, and Vickie's house was such a picturesque setting.
